Un ’ indagine a Bologna con 616 adolescenti sui temi della violenza di genere e del bullismo

È stata prodotta una dispensa dal titolo: “ Porto delle comunità – indagine conoscitiva sulla violenza di genere e il bullismo. 14 domande a 616 adolescenti delle scuole secondarie di primo e secondo grado di Bologna.” . L’indagine è stata svolta in 9 scuole d i Bologna. L’iniziativa rientra nel programma europeo PON METRO , attuato in collaborazione con A . I . C . S . Comitato Provinciale di Bologna APS e Dedalus di Jonas.

In linea con i valori espressi dall’ Associazione Nuovamente APS , che negli ultimi 8 anni ha realizzato corsi d’ausilio in 131 scuole coinvolgendo oltre 50.000 studenti, questa indagine si è proposta di verificare quanto i temi della violenza di genere e del bullismo fossero conosciuti tra il campione di studenti selezionato e a che livello di profondità. Sono stati realizzati laboratori creativo – espressivi nelle scuole nei quali sono stati illustrati i concetti di uguaglianza, bullismo e violenza di genere stimolando un dialogo ed una partecipazione attiva da parte degli studenti. A seguito di queste attività sono stati creati alcuni elaborati grafici che potessero consentire ai ragazzi di esprimere visiva mente ciò che avevano appreso e alcuni di questi sono stati poi inseriti all’interno della dispensa. È stato somministrato un questionari o di 14 domande , su i temi citati, agli studenti che hanno partecipato sia a i laboratori che a i corsi di ausilio realizzati dall’Associazione.
Dall’ analisi delle risposte è emerso , tra l’altro, come il bullismo sia un tema conosciuto anche più della violenza di genere (96% – 86,8%), come sia presente in maniera significativa in tutte le scuole considerate (87%), come sia messo in atto in maggioranza da ragazzi (78,5% – 19,8%) e come il 58,3% del campione condivida queste problematiche con amici, insegnati o familiari per tentare di trovare delle soluzioni efficaci  volte a contrastare il fenomeno .
La dispensa è stata distribuita ai funzionari dei servizi sociali e scolastici, ai presidenti e ai direttori generali della Regione Emilia – Romagna, del Comune di Bologna, della Città Metropolitana di Bologna e dei sei Quartieri di Bologna; alle scuole di Bologna in cui è stata svolta l’indagine e ai dirigenti delle sovrintendenze scolastiche provinciali . Grazie a questo tipo di indagine sarà possibile strutturare degli
interventi mirati per tentare di risolvere problematiche e punti critici relativi a temi complessi come quelli del bullismo e della violenza di genere.

Associazione Nuovamente APS, a social promotion association and consulting centre for Emilia Romagna’s educational institutions, has been active in the Bologna, Modena and Ferrara territories for 20 years.

During its activities, the association has initiated a thousand of projects and good practices. Among these, the training courses taken in class for students with school and social difficulties and creative-expressive workshops against gender violence, bullying and cyberbullying have been particularly significant.

The investigation about gender-based violence and bullying, which has been reported on this document, is part of the project ‘Porto delle comunità’- a PON METRO project, in which Nuovamente APS has a partnership as TJV (Temporary Joint Venture) with AICS Comitato Provinciale di Bologna APS and Dedalus di Jonas. AICS (Italian Association Sport Culture) is a non-profit sports promotion association. It has an experience as national agency of 40 years. With the passing of years it extended its scope, including concepts like solidarity, culture, social politics and social turism. Dedalus is a psychological clinic center, based in Bologna. It has a team of psychotherapists and psychoanalysts doing researches about the cure of youth problems new syntoms, such as internet addiction, drugs addiction, anorexia and bulimia, obesity, school dissatisfaction and assistence for bullied.

Nuovamente APS has realized a lot of projects for PON METRO focused on Porto-Saragozza neighborhood since 2019, such as promotion of assistence for fragility of the elderly population with physioterapists and psychologists, school realignment courses, urban green care, italian courses for foreigners living in that neighborhood, investigation about architectural barriers in councils estate like Saffi area, Quadrilatero Scalo/Malvasia, Porto-Saragozza, a survey about craft activities in Saffi/Zanardi/Velodromo/Vittorio Veneto area, verification surveys about the houses availaibility for concierge service, and others.

For what concerns the AICS projects, realized with the collaboration of Porto Saragozza representatives, they have been: promotion events and communication activities; gym activities in the apartment buildings; urban decoration; drawing and cartoons activities; young radio speakers courses; creative writing lab.

Dedalus, instead, has realized communication activities and a graphic novel about bullying.

The association operators have been engaged in the distribution of survey questionnaires, consisting of 14 questions and covered in this booklet, to the students participating in Nuovamente’s workshops.

In the last eight workshops, the association has realized training courses in 131 schools, involving over 50.000 students.

The courses have been taken in the first and second grade secondary schools of Bologna, Casalecchio, Budrio, Modena, Ferrara and Ravenna and they have covered scientific, literary and linguistic disciplines, with the aim of realign the students with school difficulties.

Through the project “Per l’uguaglianza, laboratori di cittadinanza contro la violenza di genere ed il bullismo”, the association has proposed creative-expressive workshops in schools, that have seen the involvement of psychologists and an art therapist.

During these workshops, the psychologists have explained to the students the concepts of equality, bullying and gender violence, by inviting the students to actively participate to the discussions about these subjects.

After that, it has been asked to the students to elaborate some graphics against gender violence or bullying, realized with the help of the art therapist. Some of these projects can be found in this booklet.

The survey questionnaires has been filled by students of 9 school residents of the City of Bologna, of which 6 lower secondary schools and 3 upper secondary schools. In all, students involved were 616, of which 327 boys and 289 girls. These are the schools involved: I.C. 1 “G. Dozza” (Bologna); I. C. 2 “F. M. Zanotti” (Bologna); I. C. 3 “S.
